Food Cravings And How To Stop Them

by Tom Roamfar on February 6, 2010

The most apparent method to curb food cravings is to stop eating too much. I have heard and used this line a number of times before, while watching some of my friends eat, at home, at parties. I would like to spend some time and write about magnesium malate control food cravings.

Let start by saying that eating a lot does not automatically result to cravings for food or gaining of weight instead it is the selection of food you indulge in. Eating certain kinds of food may lead you to exacerbating your food cravings and taking or eating another group of foods may help stop them. This “good” food has the power to enable you to stop your cravings. Let me make an example here, if you need to stop them, consider taking b-vitamin complex (B vitamins). By taking these vitamins you can be sure of a controlled break down of food in your body i.e. b-vitamins help in the metabolism of carbohydrates into sugar glucose that is simpler. There is plenty if food that contains b-complex vitamins. For example, you can find them in nuts, whole-grain cereals fruits, leafy green vegetables, whole-grain cereals fruits, rice, meats, eggs, milk and fish.

It follows then that food cravings are by and large caused by chemical imbalances in our body system and feeding the right kind of food in to our system will enable the body to gain access to much needed nutrients and be in a position to control the chemical orientation in your body. This is true even for woman who are premenstrual and can be helpful if you are looking for best foods for PMS.

Now that you know about chemical imbalances I guess you can understand why some weight loss advertrisers claim that you can eat as much as you want but still lose weight. The product developers basically create some anti depressants that help produce the kind of resources, which are used to stimulate the production of certain resources in order to function properly. They have since understood what needs to be present in your body in order to make you feel good, find eating desiresand lose weight without cutting back on your diet.

Even though I cannot deny the effectiveness of antidepressants, I have my reservations about them mostly because they tend to have side effects for some users such a nausea, irritability, to mention just a few. Personally I am a huge fan of natural remedies and cures and these are done by understanding the body’s chemical structure and then help balance it up by eating the right kind of food.

I hope so far you can relate even if you are thinking about magnesium malate to control food cravings

You don’t have to pay a cent to gain control of your eating habits. For instance, when people ask about how to curb PMS cravings, I often tell people to take stock and do the following, observe and not the emotional triggers that lead you to eating excessively, try to improve your mood through exercise, everytime you feel like eating something especially something sweet just drink a glass of water as this can help a lot also try to find other replacements for what you eat for instance find some low fat snacks or something better like fruits.
